Cathy and CLJ Consulting

 

CLJ Consulting represents a 30 year multi-faceted professional journey in public, private and non-profit sectors. Cathy has worked with a variety of national and global clients, receiving awards and outstanding commendations for communication, events, client relations, technical knowledge, team building and smooth project executions. Prior to operating her own consulting business, Cathy held Senior Management positions including Executive Team Member leading the amalgamation of several Canadian utilities and HR Global Communications Manager at Magna International. In the public sector she led a strategic portfolio comprised of five distinct operating groups; Communications, Revenue Generation, Marketing, Special Events and Community Partnerships. She is also a Principal in AWL Energy Group contributing leadership and expertise to energy, water and sustainability initiatives.

Cathy has served on several community Boards including seven years on the Children's Safety Village of York Region, responsible for marketing and capital fundraising strategies resulting in $3.2 million dollars. She conducted Young Offender hearings as a four-year board member of Operation Springboard Youth Justice Committee.

Cathy is a York Region Woman of the Year nominee and a recipient of multiple Corporate and Community awards including a Solicitor General's Award of Excellence, an International Law Enforcement Video Award, Fire Marshall's Public Fire Safety Council Award and Community Spirit Award.

She is a strong communicator, strategic thinker and passionate about client and customer relations. She is recognized by clients, peers and project stakeholders for leadership, creativity, attention to detail and a collaborative and team focused approach.
